American Falls is a wonderful place to live, visit, and play. American Falls is the home of many beautiful parks and, also, hosts many different recreational activities. From the trails at Willow Bay to the 9 hole Golf Course in the heart of town, you will find much enjoyment and relaxation in this area.

City Park
The City Park is approximately 7.3 acres of fun and recreation located in the heart of the city, adjacent to the central business district. It serves as a popular gathering place for a wide variety of civic and social events. The park offers family picnic facilities, two group picnic facilities, open play areas, two horseshoe pits, a volleyball area, a gazebo, playground equipment and items of historical interest.

Lee Street Park
Lee Street Park is located near Lee Street and Highway 39 Bypass. This park Features Magnuson Field and three other Baseball Diamonds. In the fall, Lee Street is home to the American Falls Youth Soccer League as well. For children, the park has a playground area located near the amphitheater area. For bicyclists and pedestrians, Lee Street is the beginning of the American Falls Trail System that connects to Willow Bay. A new skate park was built on the east side of the park, increasing the amount of possibilities and activities available to the City.

Vard Meadows
Vard Meadows park offers picnic facilities, a group picnic shelter, two horseshoe pits, two little league baseball fields,open play areas and a playground equipment. The park is approximately 3.43 acres and is located at the corner of Falls Avenue and Valdez Street.

Stebbins Park
Stebbins Park is located just south of the Intermediate School. This park is home to the American Falls 9-hole Frisbee Golf Course. If you are looking for peace and quiet in the shade, this is the park for you.

Trenner Park
Trenner Park, also known as Three Layer Park, is maintained by Idaho Power Company and offers picnic facilities, access to a fishing dock, and great panoramic views of the American Falls Dam and Snake River area below the dam. During high water periods, water is sent rushing through the dam over the old falls which gave American Falls its name.
